LOGo redesign
We are very excited to share the Northern Manitoba Food, Culture, and Community Collaborative's new logo!
In true collaborative fashion, many voices and talents contributed to the creation of this logo including 5 youth from Northern Manitoba, 2 collaborators, and a Northern Advisor. We worked with Vincent Design, an Indigenous design company based in Winnipeg, to bring the logo to life and create an image that captures so many parts of the Collaborative and who we are as a whole. We want to share our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the creation of this new logo. It wouldn't be what it is without you.
The image below shows a breakdown of all the different logo elements that reflect the NMFCCC.

Original Logo
Our original logo was designed by Ervin Bighetty. Ervin is young indigenous man, resident of Leaf Rapids, past Northern Advisor and friend to the NMFCCC, and of course many more things.
The hands show hard work, care, collaboration and diversity as key elements of the Collaborative. The plant represents knowledge. Sharing and growing knowledge is a key component of this collaborative effort. The colour scheme was chosen to show the changing temperature from south to north, as per The Weather Network’s illustration of temperature through use of colour.
Thank you, Ervin, for sharing your talents with us and creating an image that gave us a solid foundation to grow throughout the years.
